Books, Stitching, Weather

Dear Friends

I have finished reading two books since my last post...I have been reading quite a bit lately....

Here are the two books that I have started and finished:

1. "Where the Truth Lies - A Massachusetts Mayhem Mystery" by Elizabeth Ludwig & Janelle Mowery.

2.  "Murder In The Mystery Suite" by Ellery Adams

Both of these books are fantastic...I really enjoyed both of these books tremendously.

Now I am reading three books...one is a e-book from my Library called "A Lightening Thief" by Rick Riordan...

The Second Book that I am reading is called "I Might As Well Be Dead" by Rex Stout

The Third Book that I am reading is called "Cinder" by Marissa Meyer.  This one is a Sci-Fi/Fantasy Type Book.  This is Book #1 in The Lunar Chronicles.  A good friend of mine and I are starting this book today.  We are both reading it together.  This book was highly recommend on Book Tube Videos which is through You Tube.  There are two other books to this series called Scarlett and Cress.  Scarlett is Book 2 and Cress is Book 3.  I am getting the other two books eventually.  They are all in Hard Back.

Speaking of Books I have ordered the Annotated Edition of Peter Pan - it is just gorgeous...a very beautiful green cover to it and its hard back.  I have a special place for this beautiful gorgeous book.

I also ordered the Puffin In Bloom Series as well too from Amazon...Here are the books in this series:

1.  Heidi
2.  Anne of Green Gables
3. Little Women
4. A Little Princess

I will be getting these sometime next week..if you are young at heart I would order these books...they have beautiful covers to them and they are so very neat looking.  If you have grandchildren or young children at home that loves to read...I would highly recommend in getting this series for them.  They are fantastic books to have and to read.

Last night I pulled out Autumn Splendor and I stitched on this for a while last night.  I am almost done with the lower section from the left to the middle.  I am getting ready to start on the Doe.

I am going to be stitching on Rocky Mountain Christmas again and also on Advice From A Caterpillar plus Autumn Splendor.

This should keep me out of mischief for a while..hahaha!

Thanks everyone for all of your beautiful comments...I love them...

  1. your reading sounds interesting Linda - I'm reading Andre Agassi 'Open" at the moment - I hope your fleecy blanket had some splits for your arms so you can hold your book or stitching!!
