Autumn Splendor Progress, Anniversary Death Date of my Father

100_9100 - Autumn Splendor - Stoney Creek - 4-6-2014

Autumn Splendor by Stoney Creek.  More Progress on this.  I have one very large branch of leaves to stitch yet up at the top.  There are leaves on the very right side as well to be stitch.  Than I will be done with all of the leaves.  Than I can finish up the bottom portion of this.  There isn't that much more to do on this once I get the leaves done.  I just have the fence posts. the rest of the fence, and a birdie and his house to stitch and than this project will be finished.

It has been 33 years ago today that my Daddy passed away.  I really miss him.  He was the best Father that anybody could ever have.  He loved to be outside from Spring through Fall working in the yard, working in his big garden, peddling around in the garage, working on the cars.  I spent a lot of time outside with my Daddy as well as in the Garage with him.  I use to sweep the Garage Floor for him.  My Daddy and I were the best of buddies.  I loved him so much.  Today is a sad day for me.  I've had tears in my eyes already this morning.

Have a Beautiful Sunday

God Bless You
Love & Prayers

  3. I had two important people pass away when I was 16 and then 19. It is many years later and I still find myself thinking about them at the oddest times and missing them and wishing that they could still be here. I don't think we ever get over the loss of important people in our lives. I do believe that they are out there smiling at us and happy that we don't forget them in our minds and our hearts.
