Progress on Beloved Rose Of Sharon - Major Winter Storm

Progress on Beloved Rose Of Sharon by Paula Vaughan - Saturday Feb 10, 2018

Beloved Rose Of Sharon

Designer - Paula Vaughan

28 Count Ice Blue Lugana

2 x 2 Full Cross Stitch

I do stitch on this for a little bit each day.  It is going real slow.  I am just taking my time in Stitching this.  I do love stitching on this.  I got a little bit more done on the Pink Dress.

We got a Major Snowstorm Thursday Night and all day yesterday...My Town plus the surrounding Cities and surrounding Towns got 14 plus inches of snow.  All I got done doing yesterday was shoveling.  I did go to McDonalds twice yesterday - Once for Breakfast and Once for Lunch.  My brother used his Snow Blower to plow me out.  He did not help me very much yesterday - basically just in the morning and that was it.  All of the Schools were closed - all of the Churches - all of the Colleges - all of the Major Business's and Factories were all closed.  All of the Libraries were closed.  I live in Northern Indiana.

I am not suppose to do any Shoveling - Raking - Mowing - Sweeping due to my Health Issues that I have.  I did email my brother and I asked him to move my car whenever he uses the Snow Blower so the Snow does not pack up against my tires.  If he does that or not I don't know.  I told him that I could move my car too if he did not want to do that.  I do not liked to be plowed in...I want to be able to go when I want to.  My brother knows this too.  I told him that I am not going to shovel anymore...I can't.  My left foot hurts now and its swollen from having to do all of the Shoveling yesterday so I am not real happy with him.  I was even outside last night shoveling.  We don't get a break from getting Snow until Monday and than that will be it for a while.  It is suppose to snow all of this coming week from Tuesday on.  I was crying this morning because I am so fed up with this weather and I know everyone else is too.  This is our 3rd Snow Storm that we got in less than three days time and it was not like 2 or 3 inches - it has been 4 plus inches of snow and than 14 plus inches of Snow.

I would love to fly out to California from November through May but I have a kitty and its hard to take a kitty to another state for that length of time.  Buttercup would not be happy.

Today is the first day that I am having a very relaxing day and enjoying my Morning drinking my Coffee and staying in my jammies until noon or later.  From now on I am taking care of ME.  No More Shoveling.  My brother can do more than what he does.  After all I do his laundry 4 days week so he can help me more than what he does.  He is home from work at 2:30 p.m.

I am going to be taking it easy today - Reading - Stitching - Watching TV.  I am still reading L is for Lawless by Sue Grafton as a Library E Book.  I need to get this book finished before it has to go back to the Library.  In my County if we are not done with a Library E Book we cannot renew that book.  That is the only reason why I don't like Library E Books.  I would rather buy them for my Kindle from Amazon and take my time in Reading my Books.  I may have to start doing that until I can get to the Library and start getting the Physical Copies again.  I don't go to the Library during the Winter Months - November through February.  I love reading Library E Books but you have to spend all of your time reading them so you can get them read before they go back to the Library.

That is all for now....

God Bless You
Love & Prayers

  4. Lovely detailed stitching. You are right to make sure that you relax. There's no point in aggravating your health issues.
