Easter Celebration
Designer - Barbara Sestok
28 Count 2 x 2 Full Cross Stitch
This Pattern was already started when I went to pick it up from my LNS. The Lady that started this has passed away and I inhherited some of her unfinished projects and this is one of them. She did not have much done on this. Most of the Stitching is what I have done so far. I just have two big flowers to do on the left side and than the rest of the back stitching to do. I am almost done with this one.
When I am done I am going to put the lady's initials first and than mine and get this one framed and hung up on my wall in the living room. I enjoy stitching on this. It is so very pretty and I will have it done just in time too. I just love this Pattern.
The Pattern is from the 2014 Cross Stitch & Needlework Keepsake Calendar if you want to know where it is from. There are many other patterns from this particular Calendar that I want to stitch. I love stitching Patterns like this. This is why I love Stoney Creek Patterns because they are similar to this one.
I don't know what the name of the Fabric is since I got this from the lady that has passed away about 3 years ago.
I should be done with the Flowers by tomorrow night. Since this Photo has been taken I already got the biggest Flower all done except for the Back Stitching so I just have the smaller flower to do yet and than the back stitching.
That is all for now....
God Bless You
Love & Prayers

That is a pretty design Linda. How lovely that you can finish this after the first stitcher passed away. It will be a lovely memento.
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty design with a lot of detail. I like your idea of stitching both your initials and those of the lady who passed away on this piece.
ReplyDeleteThis piece is so pretty.
