I decided to pull this one out and start working on this one again.  I am making this for my church.  I never made anything for my church and I thought this would be a good one to make for them. 

 

I ran out of the Light Gray - this came as a Kit - and I finally found the thread that would match it that I have in my boxes of DMC Thread so I am just going to go with it.  I want to continue working on this. 

 

The top half of this - the sky - and the darker trees with the brown tree limbs - that was already done by another stitcher friend of mine.  She asked me if I wanted to finish it and that I would get to keep it and I said yes.  The brown thing that is sticking out like a sore thumb is Jesus Staff.  This is a picture of Jesus holding his Staff, talking to his sheep, and sitting down on rocks near a river.  I dearly love this pattern.  I stitched part of the lighter green trees, and the lower part of the sky, the top of the Staff.  I am working my way over to the very right edge now. 

 

We are getting very cold extreme cold weather and very snowy weather today.  I am suppose to go to my Dentist Appt but I think I am going to see if I can change it to some other day when it is not so bad out.  It is going to be snowy and very very cold the rest of this week.  I just want to stay home and curl up with my stitching.
