Another Stormy Day

Dear Friends

I would like to welcome Fairy Stitcher to my Blog...She is a new Follower of my Blog.  Thank you so very much for becoming a follower of my Blog.  I now have 152 Followers of my Blog...Yeah....that makes me real happy.

Sorry I haven't been posting any stitching pictures lately but I am dealing with Tennis Elbow and it is caused from my bone condition that I have.  My Orthopedic Surgeon sent me to do Physical Therapy on my arm/elbow to see if it will help or not.  This is my 4th time in having this.  It gets worse each time I get it.  I may or may not have to have surgery.  It all depends how my arm/elbow feels when I go back to see my Orthopedic Surgeon which will be next month.  I go to Physical Therapy twice a week and than I have 4 different Exercises to do at home 5 times a day.

I have been doing lots and lots and lots of Reading and I have been going to my local Library once or twice a week.  It all depends on how I am feeling on the days that I want to go.  I went to my Library the other day and I got four more books so right now I have a total of 6 Books checked out from my Library and I have one that is on hold through my Library.  I am currently reading "Agony Of The Leaves" by Laura Childs.  I dearly love this book.  She writes the same way that James Patterson writes - Short Chapters and the Plot begins at the beginning of the book which I dearly love.  I am really enjoying this book and I love the way Laura Childs writes.  I will be reading more of her books as time goes on.  I am not the type of person that can read just one author all the way straight through.  I have to take breaks from reading just one author and read another book by a different author.  I love the books that I have been reading but sometimes I just need a break and read something different by a different author.

One of my all time favorite Series is the Nancy Drew Mystery Series - the original books plus the Nancy Drew Case Files and than there is another set too and I can't think the name of them right now but they all have to do with good ole Nancy Drew.  I would love to get the Nancy Drew Case Files Series but did you know that you cannot buy them hardly anymore unless you run across them in a Used Book Store or a Garage Sale or something.  Its a shame that you can't buy in paperback the Nancy Drew Case Files. You can buy the Nancy Drew Case Files Books as a e-book so you have to have either a Kindle or a Nook.  My local Library has some of Nancy Drew Case Files Books and I am trying to get the rest of them through the Evergreen Library System.  I have never read this series by Nancy Drew so I want to read them.  If my Library ever has any Nancy Drew Books in their Library Book Sale I am going to buy them.  I did buy some at their last Library Book Sale this last weekend.  I got like four or five of them.  I dearly love Nancy Drew Books.  You can still buy the Original Nancy Drew Mystery Series but that is about it.  I am buying the Original Mystery Series a few at a time.  I have Books #1-16 now.   I get a gift card next month for Amazon and I am planning on buying as many Nancy Drew Books as I can buy in the Original Mystery Series.

We are going to have a very stormy day today and tonight and in the morning.  The winds are suppose to get up to 40 mph with heavy rain and storms.  YIKES!  I got everything done yesterday including going to the grocery store so I don't have to get out today.  I can stay home, snuggle up with my kitty kat and read.

I took Railroad to the Vet the other day for his annual check up and for his rabbies shot and he is in good health.  I am cutting back on his food though and I am hoping that he will lose some of his weight.  He now weights 18 pounds.  He thinks that every time I sit down to eat he has to eat MY FOOD.  Geesh!  He is a stinker at times.  I love him to death.  He is my baby.  He is 8 years old.

Thank you for all of your comments...I so very much appreciate them.

God Bless You
Love & Prayers
Linda K, Railroad
