Back from my Vacation

Dear Friends

I am back from my Vacation - I got back this past Wednesday Morning.  It is so nice to get away but it is always so nice to come back home too.  I was gone for a month and a half.  I got to see all of my friends and spent time with my family.  My one brother from California got to come home so I spent some time with him.  We had our family reunion - just my immediate family so we all could spend some time together, had a really nice cook out at my one brother's house with all of us there.  It was so nice.  My one brother that lives in Arkansas couldn't make it home but I got to see him in September so that was really nice too.

While I was gone I got my Walk In Shower put in where I live at and I dearly love it...It is one Seat Shower and if I want to I can stand up and take a shower or I can sit down and take a shower.  It is so clean and shiny looking.  I clean my shower after I get done taking my shower.  This way it will stay nice and clean and shiny.  I love the lay out as well too...It has several bars to hang onto and it has several shelves to it as well too.  I am in love with my shower.

I took a whole bunch of pictures while I was on Vacation and sometime today I am going to be uploading my pictures.  I won't show them all due to privacy reasons but I will show some of them.

I gave Rocky Mountain Christmas picture that I made for my Minister and his wife - I gave that to them this past Thursday.  They are in love with the picture.  I was so scared that they wouldn't like it or something but they told me it is just gorgeous.  They have it hanging up in their living room.  They were totally surprised.  They didn't know that our church could keep a secret for two years from them ....LOL....Now they found out....LOL...Its kinda funny.  They both gave me a great big hug and thank me to death for their beautiful picture.  My minister's wife does counted cross stitch so she knows how much work it entails and the time it takes.  She doesn't have time to do that now due to her job but she use to do it and so they both know how hard it is to do a picture, the time it takes and all of the hard work it takes to make a picture.  I knew all along that they would appreciate their picture and they will cherish that picture for the rest of their lives.  My tradition is to make a counted cross stitch picture for every minister and his wife that comes to my church.  I started this tradition back in the 1980's and I am still doing that to this day.  Now I need to make something for the Assistant Pastor and his wife.  I got a picture picked out but I am going to keep on looking and see if I can find another one that I like a little bit better.  The one that I got picked out is just beautiful but I would like to do a Non-Religious picture though.  I try to make a picture that is Non-Religious since they get all kinds of religious stuff during the Holiday Times.

We was in the FREEZE ZONE last night for the first time this year.  It got down to 30 degrees last night.

I went to the first worship service and to Sunday School this morning.  Than I went out to eat with my Sunday School Class.  I love going out to eat with my Sunday School Class.  We have a lot of fun and it is so relaxing and so enjoyable because nobody is in a hurry.

I stitched on Autumn Splendor yesterday and than last night I stitched on Daisy Offerings.  I got my stitching in yesterday and last night and I was so glad.

God Bless You
