A Fathers Touch A Mothers Kiss Progress, Other News

100_9268 - A Fathers Touch A Mothers Kiss - HAED - Schim Schimmel - 4-6-2015

A Fathers Touch A Mothers Kiss - HAED - Schim Schimmel.  I am stitching this on 25 Count White Lugana 1 x 1.  I am stitching the background which is all black.  I prefer to stitch the backgrounds myself.

I am stitching this along with Rocky Mountain Christmas to give myself a break and to have something easy to stitch in the evenings while watching TV.  I will be stitching on this until it is finished.  This will be my first HAED that I will finish.

For those of us who celebrated Easter Weekend I hope that you all had a very good Easter Weekend and ate lots of Ham.  My mom use to fix a Ham Dinner with all of the other fixings to go along with it every year at Easter time and we had the best Ham Dinner that anybody could ever ask for.  Oh it was so good.  I would get to eat the left over Ham and have Ham Sandwiches until the Ham was completely gone.  Oh I sure miss my Mom's Ham Dinners.

I have been reading - I am currently reading Aunt Dimity & The Duke by Nancy Atherton.  It is a really good mystery to read.  This is a book that I own myself.  I also went to the Library the other day and I got two books and several magazines.  I read the one book and I still have the other book to read yet.  The two books that I got from the Library is Nancy Clancy Series which has come out in 2012.  There are 7 books total to this series.  I dearly love love this series.  Nancy is so funny.  Book One is called Nancy Clancy and the Super Sleuth and Book #4 is called Nancy Clancy and the Silver Key.  These were the only two books that the Library had in.  Book #4 is the latest newest one that my Library got in.  They are found in the Young Readers Section of the Children's Library at my Library.  I love reading Children's Books and Young Reader Books.  They are not thick and they are not heavy books.  I also bought a e-book called "Glass Of Throne" by Sarah J. Maas.  This is a YA Fantasy Book.  This is a series and the books are all pretty thick and heavy so I am going to be buying them as e-books and putting them on my Kindle Tablet.  This way I can read them when I want plus I won't have to hold a heavy thick book in my hands.  I love e-books.  They are cheaper and I don't have to worry about trying to hurry up and read them and return them to the library. I like to take my time in reading my books.  I have a paper back book right now that is really thick and I only read a few pages in this one book every morning and that is it.

I have a Fracture somewhere in my Knee but I am up and walking on my leg and it really doesn't bother me too much.  If I am on my leg too much than yes I am in pain.  I am taking pain pills...mostly at night.  I go see my Orthopedic Surgeon on the 15th of this month.

Well I think that is all for now.....

God Bless You
Love & Prayers
