Fabric - 14 Count Light Blue Aida

This is a Re-Start.  I started this on Dark Navy 14 or 18 Count Blue Aida.  I can't remember which one it was. Even though it was pretty on the Dark Navy Blue Fabric it was hard for me to see the holes.  I decided to change out the Fabric to a 14 Count Light Blue Aida.  I can see the holes much easier and it is a fun piece to stitch.  There is a whole lot more to stitch yet before this is Finished.  This is my Non Full Coverage Project from Start to Finish.  

On January 14-16th my area got a really bad Snow Storm - it was just like a Blizzard - we got 12 + Inches of Snow.  I got 23 inches of snow.  I went out and measured .  It was really bad out for two days.  Nobody was out hardly at all except for the Paramedics and the Police.  On January 15th a good close friend of mine from my church came and he got me unburied.  My Car was practially buried on my Drivers Side of my car.  He got me completely unburied.  I was helping him too.  After he left I continue to shovel some more behind my car.  Behind my car is mostly icy spots and lots of them.  My Right Foot slip and I fell on the ground behind my car.  I sat there for a few minutes and than I got back up - limp my way back to my house - called for the Ambulance to take me to the hospital.  A Police Officer came before the Ambulance did.  When the Ambulance got to my house the Police Officer help me out to where the Stretcher was at on my Sidewalk.  At that time the Sidewalk bare path was very narrow due to all of the snow.  Was taken to the local hospital.  Took X-Rays of my Left Shoulder - My Right Foot.  My right foot is badly bruised - swollen.  My left Shoulder was Sprained.  They release me from the hospital that same day. The Day After I had my phone in my Pajama Pocket - I was barefooted in my bathroom - my cell phone drop out of my pocket and fell right on my poor right foot...OUCH!  Its been hurting ever since.  Although today it is a tad bit better.  I have not had to take any Tylenol this morning so far.  I have been living on Tylenol since January 17th.  I have been using Ice Paks and my Heating Pad on my foot.  I take my shoes off when I am in my chair stitching.  

Yesterday was the very first day that I got fully dressed.  Took out my Garbage and my Recycle out to my Bins and put them in their proper bins.  I have my Bins sitting next to my mailbox out front so I don't have to walk clear around the side of the house or even go out my back door.  I also did two loads of Laundry too.  

I have three Pastors at my church that I go to.  The Main Pastor is also a Nurse.  She has been helping me since this has happen.  She has been getting my groceries and going to McDonalds for me.  I have to have my McDonalds Fix you know at least once a week.  I also have a life long friend who lived across from me - her Mom still does.  Her Daughter lives across from the Elementary School down the road a little ways so she is close by too.  She has been taking my Bins out to the street for me for Pick Up.  I have her do this every other week since both of them gets picked up on the same day.  The Garbage comes every week.  The Recycle Comes every other Week so on Recycle Day I have her put both of my Bins out for Pick Up.  

That has been my life lately.  My foot is slowly healing up - its taking its sweet ole time in healing up.

The Book that I am reading is called:

Murder On Wall Street by Victoria Thompson - this is Book #24 in the Gaslight Mystery Series.  This book is so good.  The Gaslight Mystery Series is a excellent Series to read.  Victoria Thompson passed away last year from Cancer.  

I have been staying in since my fall.  It has been decent out - No More Snow - and the temps have been in the high teens - early 20's F.
