ABC des Maisons Progress

Progress on ABC des Maisons by Jardin Prive - I am on the Third Row out of Four Rows - Progress as of Thursday, May 15, 2025

ABC des Maisons
Jardin Prive
Stitching this on 28 Count Antique White Cashel Linen
2 x 2 Full Cross
Back Stitch - One Strand
DMC Threads

I am loving this - I do not want to quit working on this.  I am on the Third Row and there is one more row to go yet which will be the Fourth Row which is the last Row to do.  I did make a mistake somewhere on the Blue house in the third row but I was able to fudge it.  I was not about to tear all of that out just to make it correct.  I think it looks just fine myself.  This is my easy non full coverage WIP that I work on in the evenings.  I will work on this until it is finished.  Than I will pick another easy non full project to work on.  I have plenty of smaller easier projects to work on.  I keep buying them - Ha!  Prim Rose Cottage Stitches Charts are one of my favorites to buy.

Life Update:  I am doing good.  Although I have hurt my Back - Right Shoulder Blade Area - I either pulled a Muscle or I tore a Muscle.  It is getting better but its taking its sweet ole time in healing up completely.

I have been trying to get my yard work done too and its been so ungodly hot out and I live in town and there is very little trees in my Block so that Sun is beating down on my house - my car - the sidewalk.  I have to Stay inside of my house when it is hot out due to breathing problems if I don't.  I have Central Air - Thank Goodness.

Mr. & Mrs Mole decided to come and visit me this week in my Front Yard - that is so sweet of them to come and visit me....NOT!  They are tearing up my front yard near my flower bed.  Darn them.  I got on the Internet and I found a Recipe to get rid of them:

One Gallon Of Water
One Tablespoon of Dawn Dish Soap
Three Tablespoons of Castor Oil

You Mix all of that together and than you pour that on the mounds of Dirt and along the hill as I call it and I do it at night and in the mornings.  Its been working so far a little bit anyways.  You are not suppose to touch - Touching them by hand - Mounds according to what I have read.

Stitching Update:  I have been working on Once Upon A Fairytale Heaven And Earth Designs - Aimee Stewart is the Artist and I also have been working on A Wise Old Owl by Paine Free Crafts - Chris Dunn is the Artist.

We are in a Tornado Watch for tonight as I am writing this.  It is Thundering out.

That is all for now...

Thank you all so much for all of your Comments...I really appreciate them so very much.

God Bless You All
Love & Prayers

  2. Hope the tornado watch didn't pan out! Here's to fast healing for your back, an aching back will ruin anyone's day. You've got moles in your yard and I have javelina! I came home from work last night to hear a ruckus on the back porch. I turned on the light and 6 of 7 of them things were tearing apart 2 large bags of junk , no food, and made a huge mess, ugh. I went out and cleaned up earlier today. Happy stitching, Linda!
