Way Too Hot - Been Reading alot

Dear Friends

   I don't know what happen to the pictures of all of you Followers up at the top of my Blog but I wish they would start showing up again.  If anybody can tell me please do.

My area has been having some horrible Hot Muggy Steamy Weather for the last few weeks and we are not getting any type of breaks whatsoever.  It makes it worse when you don't have Central Air in your house and all you have is a small Window AC in the Living Room Window and that is it.  I do have box fans in my bedroom and in my Den Room plus have all of the Ceiling Fans going as well.  It did rain through the night last night but I didn't hear it though.  This weather is so hard on me due to my breathing and everything else.  The only time I get any relief is if I go out riding around at night because the Air is a little bit cooler at night plus I have my AC going in my car too when I am out riding around.

I went to McDonalds last night here in my town thinking that I could just stay there and read for a while and enjoy some cool air.  Wrong.  That didn't happen at all.  They have the entire seating airea all torned up,  their AC is not working or is not turn on, they don't have no Ice Cream.  Now mind you - yesterday has been the hottest day of the year for my area and other areas of the USA and they would have to have no AC on at McDonalds.  I wanted to go out riding around last night to get cooled off but it was lightening out so I didn't do that.  I came back home, and I watched Netflix on my Tablet.

I have not been stitching at all since it became very hot - I cannot stitch when it is hot.  I read my Books during the summer time.  I am reading Book #10 in the Nancy Drew Mystery Series which I can't remember the title of it right now.  I am also reading "Desert Heat" by J. A. Jance on my Kindle Tablet.  This is Book #1 in her Joanna Brady Series.  I have decided to start reading my own books here at home that I have on my shelves so I can give them to my girlfriend or to Goodwill or to my local Library.  The only ones that I am buy anymore is the Nancy Drew Mystery Series Books.  Now if I really want to read a book than I will buy that book because it is brand new and its not marked up or torn up or the spine is not broken.  I buy my books either from Amazon or from Barnes and Nobles.  If I buy my books from Book Outlet they put a mark on the top or on the bottom and I do not like that at all.  Plus they do not carry all of the books that I like anyways...they are mostly Science Fiction and Fantasy and that is about it.  This is why I stay with Amazon or Barnes and Nobles.  I can get any book that I want from these two places.  I am a member both at Amazon and at Barnes and Nobles.  I am finicky about my Books.  I was always taught to use a Book Mark and to be careful with my books and I've been that way ever since.  Some people use post it notes tags - you know - the small thin strips on the edge of their pages throughout the books - I won't even do that.  I don't have no reason to put tags in my books.  I just want to read my books and that is it.  No markings, no tags, not bent corners.  This is just the way I am.
