I went to see my Specialist yesterday

Dear Friends

I went to see my specialist yesterday - I have a bone disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type One.  My bones break real easily.  I see a specialist once a year - sometimes twice a year - to keep an eye on my bone situation and to see how I am doing.  I am still giving myself Shots every day for my Bones.  I will be changing over to new medicine for my bones sometime before the end of the year is up.  The Shot Medicine improves my bones but not 100% though...they just keep them from getting worse.

My Bone Disease also affects my joints as well and right now I am having trouble with my right Elbow in the joint area.  I will be seeing a Orthopedic Surgeon sometime soon and than we will take it from there.  I may have to have surgery on my Elbow.  I have had three Cortisone Shots and I am not allowed to have anymore shots because the Cortisone Shots affects my bones.

I am not stitching as much right now due to my Elbow so that is why I have been reading a lot lately instead of stitching.  I can stitch a little bit but not very much though.

I think it is suppose to be nice out again today and than tomorrow it is suppose to rain which I don't care if it does or not.  I love the soft sound of Rain when it is coming down.

I am going to my Library this morning to pick up my book that they are holding for me.  I will be done with "Dishing the Dirt" sometime today.

I hope that you all have a very beautiful day or night or afternoon and that you are enjoying your weather wherever you are at.

Thanks for all of the beautiful comments that has been posted lately....I appreciate them so very much.  I love you all.

Take care

God Bless You

  3. The problem with limited stitching time is all the ideas that start to back log in you brain and squirt out at odd moments!
