Had a Torn Rotator Cuff Repair done - Had part of my bone shaved off and I also had part of my Collar Bone taken off due to Arthritis in my AC Joint which is on top of your shoulder. The Surgery in itself went just fine and it was two hours long. When I got in the Recovery Room I started to have breathing problems. They kept me in the Recovery Room for two hours instead of only an hour. I went home that Monday Night. My one Pastor was a former nurse so she was already at my house when we got there. She stayed with me until she knew that I was okay staying by myself. My Entire Neck and Shoulder areas was covered up with Bandages and Tape. My Orthopedic Surgeon cut me in 5 different places on the left side. </p><p>I started doing therapy three days after I had my Surgery. Everyone that knows me in person was amazed at how fast I have been recovering from my Surgery. My Orthopedic Surgeon is surprised on how well I am using my arm and so is my one Therapist. </p><p>I have been stitching but very slowly. My arm -shoulder still hurts yet so I can only stitch a little bit at a time. As of yesterday Monday, March 25, 2024 I got rid of my Sling. I don't have to wear my sling anymore. I can also drive now too which is so amazing. </p><p>This is why I have not been on here - the first week was rough after I had my Surgery. I did not do nothing but rest - sleep - take pain pills. That was basically it. </p><p>Please keep me in your prayers. I am still in Therapy and I have a long ways to go yet. It will take up to a year to be completely healed up. </p><p>Thank you</p><p>God Bless You</p><p>Love & Prayers</p><p>Linda K, Buttercup </p>Linda K's Stitching Corner http://www.blogger.com/profile/13402775984447448430noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674080566644934022.post-37785181530318915882024-01-19T06:47:00.000-08:002024-01-19T06:47:26.948-08:00Progress on Lady December <div style="text-align: center;"><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenofphotos86/53473595181/in/datetaken-public/" title="Progress on December - Heaven And Earth Designs - Artist is Anna Dittman - Designer is Michele Saytta of Heaven And Earth Designs - Wednesday, January 17, 2024"><img alt="Progress on December - Heaven And Earth Designs - Artist is Anna Dittman - Designer is Michele Saytta of Heaven And Earth Designs - Wednesday, January 17, 2024" height="400" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53473595181_7b3821aaaf_w.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">December</div><div style="text-align: center;">Heaven And Earth Designs</div><div style="text-align: center;">Artist is Anna Dittman</div><div style="text-align: center;">Designer is Michele Sayetta of Heaven And Earth Designs</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">25 Count Bone Lugana</div><div style="text-align: center;">1 x 1 Full Cross </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">This is my progress on December. It depends on how I heal. The Second Surgery will be to remove part of my Clavical Bone (Collar Bone) to get rid of the Arthritis in my AC Joint which is on top of the shoulder. The first surgery will be to repair a small tear on my Rotator Cuff. </p><p>It will take up to a year for me to heal from everything. If I don't post on here much after I have my Surgery you will know why. </p><p>Please keep me in your Prayers. Right now I am dealing with lots of pain on my entire upper left side. I stitch when I can but I cannot stitch very long - about 15 minutes is all. </p><p>I have been working on "December" Heaven And Earth Designs - Artist is Anna Dittman. This Chart is pretty easy to work on. The Confetti is not bad. </p><p>My area where I live at - we have had snow - rain - sleet - Below Freezing Temps during the day time - clear down to a -30 Degrees below Zero F during the day time hours. We had that from Sunday through today. Today is a -3 Degrees Below Zero F and it feels like a -21 Degrees F Below Zero. The local schools have been closed and they will stay closed until about Thursday if the weather is not too bad. We are suppose to be getting Snow - Thursday - Friday - Saturday of this week and Saturday Night clear down to Zero for the Outside Temp. </p><p>Over the next few days I will get a picture posted of "December". She is done in Blues and she is so pretty. I can't stop working on her. </p><p>I had a good Christmas and a good Birthday. My Pastor's Wife took me to Red Robin for my Birthday. I love Red Robin. I always get the same thing every time - Red Robin Gourmet Cheeseburger and of course their Fries and my Cherry Coke. I got lots of Gift Cards for McDonalds and for Casey's. Casey's is a Gas Station - Small Grocery - Hot Foods - Home Made Pizzas and Breadsticks. Their Breadsticks are to die for. They are so good. </p><p>That is all I have for now...I will keep everyone updated as best as I can. </p><p>God Bless You</p><p>Love & Prayers</p><p>Linda K, Buttercup </p>Linda K's Stitching Corner http://www.blogger.com/profile/13402775984447448430noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674080566644934022.post-60761726508043502972023-10-20T06:56:00.001-07:002023-10-20T06:56:18.137-07:00Once Upon A Fairytale - Heaven And Earth Designs - My Progress <div style="text-align: center;"><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenofphotos86/53270980562/in/datetaken-public/" title="Progress on Once Upon A Fairytale - Heaven And Earth Designs - Aimee Stewart is Artist - Designer is Michele Sayetta - Wednesday, October 18, 2023"><img alt="Progress on Once Upon A Fairytale - Heaven And Earth Designs - Aimee Stewart is Artist - Designer is Michele Sayetta - Wednesday, October 18, 2023" height="400" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53270980562_7847072f2f_w.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Once Upon A Fairytale</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Heaven And Earth Designs</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Artist - Aimee Stewart</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Designer - Michele Sayetta </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">25 Count Bone Lugana</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">1 x 1 Full Cross</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">This is my progress on my Full Coverage Heaven And Earth Designs Project. Since this photo was taken I washed my fabric to get it a little bit more softer and it did become more soft after I washed it with Plain cool water. I took it out of the Q Snap and I have it now in a hoop. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I prefer using Embroidery Hoops more so instead of Q Snaps. Due to my weak hands and fingers it is so much easier for me to use a Hoop. Plus I can hold it closer to me as well by using a Hoop. I would love to get this framed and give this to a dear close friend of mine who just loves all kinds of Soups and who eats a bowl of Soup every single day either for lunch or for her supper. The Leaves are starting to fall. The Grass does not need mowing as much. It has been two weeks since I have had my grass mowed. This Coming Monday I will have my grass mowed. It sort of needs it. I have somebody mow it for me. </p><p>This Weekend in my town we are having the Big Town Wide Event this entire weekend. It is called Falloween Fest. It is at the high school where I graduated from so long ago. We have the Big Parade which is the Kick Off for the Falloween Fest and the best part is that it goes right past my house. I do not have to leave to see the parade. Two of my cousins were in the Parade and my Church was in the Parade last night. It was so great to see all of my friends and my cousins and my church in the Parade. I got a New Hat- tons of Candy thrown right at me - a Free Hot Dog - all from the Parade. I love it. The Parade was last night - Friday Night. </p><p>I really enjoyed the Parade last night - I love seeing the real old cars in the Parade with their Music Playing. There is a couple in my town that has this really neat car and it is identical to the Bat Mobile that was in the Batman - Robin TV Show. This Car is identical to that. I love seeing this Car. It is so neat looking and I always call it the Bat Mobile every time I see this car. The couple only drives it during the summer months but not very often though and it is in the Parade every year. It is so cool looking. </p><p>I was going to go get me a Elephant Ear today since that is the only thing that I get during the Falloween Fest but they are over $10.00 now to get one so I decided not to get one. I know its only once a year but I just want a Peaceful Quiet Day and Evening and not be around a whole bunch of people. I love staying home with Buttercup and spending the day with him and be very lazy today. All of the Events are at the high school so that is about 6 blocks away from my house. My Street was full of people last night due to the Parade. The Falloween Fest is from Friday Night to Sunday early evening. It ends at 6 p.m. on Sunday Evening. Usually Saturday is when everybody goes to the Falloween Fest. That is the only full day that we have for the Falloween Fest. It goes from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. </p><p>I have 6 Books checked out from my County Library but I would have to spend all of my time reading my Library Books and I would not get nothing else done. So I have decided to just read my own books from my own shelves. This way I can take my time in reading my Books and still do what I need to get done and to have some stitching time as well. I Pre Order The Iron Flame which is the Sequel to Fourth Wing. I have Fourth Wing on my Kindle but I would love to get the Physical Book as well which I will be getting next month - October. I love reading Fantasy and Cozy Mysteries and Children's Books. I am currently reading Knits, Knots, and Knives by Emmie Caldwell. I am almost done with this Book. It is a Cozy Mystery and its my own book. I will be taking my Library Books back to the Library probably sometime tomorrow afternoon. As much as I love going to the Library I just need to take my time in reading my Books and not have to worry about trying to get them read by a certain date. I know I can renew them but its not the same. I dearly love my County Library - the Staff is fantastic - we have the Self Check Out Computerized System - we have the Self Automatic Computerized Return Slot for all of your Return Items and you get a Receipt if you chose to get one. This is why I love my County Library. Also too - my High School English Teacher works at the County Library and I get to see her every time I go there. </p><p>This is all for now...</p><p>Take Care & Happy Stitching</p><p>God Bless You</p><p>Love & Prayers</p><p>Linda K, Buttercup </p><p><br /></p>Linda K's Stitching Corner http://www.blogger.com/profile/13402775984447448430noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674080566644934022.post-64691015830957136592023-09-30T06:47:00.002-07:002023-09-30T06:47:57.648-07:00Alphabet Soup Progress <div style="text-align: center;"><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenofphotos86/53222451865/in/datetaken-public/" title="Progress on Alphabet Soup - The Design Connection - Thursday, September 28, 2023"><img alt="Progress on Alphabet Soup - The Design Connection - Thursday, September 28, 2023" height="400" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53222451865_0e299b789d_w.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Alphabet Soup </div><div style="text-align: center;">The Design Connection </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">28 Count Ivory Jobelan</div><div style="text-align: center;">2 x 2 Full Cross</div><div style="text-align: center;">Quarter Stitches</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">This is my Non Full Coverage Project that I am stitching on. This is my oldest WIP that I have to my name. I started this on December 20, 2018. It has taken me this long to get the Big Flower Section to where it is now. Oh my gosh the Quarter Stitches in this Flower Section is a lot. I finished another Column in the Big Flower Section - I am finally to my very last Column in the Big Flower Section. The last Column is not that hard. Its easier than the rest of it was. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I still have tons of stitching to do on this whole project - I have the Tea Pot to finish on both sides and the bottom of it. I have all of the Wording to do yet. I have the Lace Work to do yet which is up at the top above the Tea Pot. I have the Borders to do all the way around it. The Big Flower Section is the hardest section out of this whole project to do and that is why I am doing this first and than I will do the rest which is the easiest to do. I have learn throughout my Stitching Life that if you do the hard sections first on your Non Full Coverage Projects than the rest of it is easier to do and you will have the hardest section out of the way as well too. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">This is going to be so pretty. This is my 3rd Most Complicated Project that I have done since 1980. Once in a while I love to Challenge myself and this is my 3rd Challenge Piece that I am working on. I am hoping to have this completely finished by the end of this year. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thank you all so very much for all of your comments...I love reading them. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thank you for looking :)</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Take Care & Happy Stitching</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Love & Prayers</div><div style="text-align: left;">God Bless You</div><div style="text-align: left;">Linda K, Buttercup </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script>Linda K's Stitching Corner http://www.blogger.com/profile/13402775984447448430noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674080566644934022.post-1022066225994967512023-09-30T06:36:00.000-07:002023-09-30T06:36:01.817-07:00Once Upon A Fairytale Progress <div style="text-align: center;"><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenofphotos86/53222254888/in/datetaken-public/" title="Progress on Once Upon A Fairytale - HAED - Aimee Stewart - Wednesday, September 27, 2023"><img alt="Progress on Once Upon A Fairytale - HAED - Aimee Stewart - Wednesday, September 27, 2023" height="400" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53222254888_e172cd4757_w.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Once Upon A Fairytale </div><div style="text-align: center;">Heaven And Earth Designs</div><div style="text-align: center;">Artist is Aimee Stewart</div><div style="text-align: center;">Designer is Michele Sayetta of Heaven And Earth Designs</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">25 Count Bone Lugana </div><div style="text-align: center;">1 x 1 Full Cross</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">This is my progress so far on Once Upon a Fairytale - As you can see I do my own gridding with the Red Sulky Metallic Threads. I love stitching on this - there is tons of Confetti Stitching in this project but it is so well worth it though. This is my Focus Piece for the time being. I do love Heaven And Earth Charts...they are so pretty and the details in these Charts are so amazing beautiful. I have quite a few Charts that are not stitch yet - I am a Collector Of Charts...haha! I have learn that if you do not buy the chart that you want and you want to buy it later...its not always there....due to the Artist retiring or has passed away. I have tons of Charts on my Wish List on their Website. I am trying really hard to stick with one Heaven And Earth Design Project from Start to Finish. I love stitching on 25 Count 1 x 1. That is my go to fabric for my Full Coverage Projects. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Someday I would love to start a Super Size Chart and stitch it. I stitch on this every day. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">The weather in my neck of the woods has been really bad - Dangerous Hot weather on Wednesday and Thursday. I got up to 114 Degrees F - Heat Index - 97 Degrees F Regular Temp. The Temp for outside on Wednesday and Thursday was 114 Degrees and you could tell it was that hot. I did go out on Wednesday to get a few things but yesterday - Thursday I stayed home the entire day and night. My breathing was not the best during those two days. It is still muggy out today but the temp is in the 90's so it is not as hot as it has been. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I got my errands done this morning so I am staying home the rest of the day and night - stitch and just have a relaxing weekend. I am trying to finish up the bottom Motif - I still have quite a ways to go yet on the Bottom Motif. This is such a fun enjoyable relaxing pattern to stitch. I just love this. This is going to be so pretty when I finish this. I just love the Colors of this. The Colors shows up really well. </p><p style="text-align: left;">I do stitch a little bit every day on some project. I have like five main ones that I am trying to stay Focus on. I do love stitching every day. It gives me something to do and it helps to keep my mind off of things as well. </p><p style="text-align: left;">Yesterday I got a huge box of Counted Cross Stitch Stuff from a dear friend of mine whose daughter's Grandmother had and the patterns - the fabrics back in her day was so very cheap. I have enough fabric now to last me for a while. I am so Blessed to have friends who thinks of me when they are going through their relatives Stitching Stash and make sure that I get it. I went through this box of Counted Cross Stitch Stuff yesterday afternoon. I was in 7th Heaven. I love getting Counted Cross Stitch Stuff from other people. It is so much fun to go through it just to see what they had and the cost of it as well. </p><p style="text-align: left;">My Shoulder is doing better as well as my Back. As long as I do not over do it with my Stitching than I am okay. I am trying to keep it under control as much as possible. My Orthopedic Surgeon wants me to do PT but it cost me $35.00 every time I go and right now I do not have the money to go. I also use my Roller Stick as well too and that helps - I can control the pressure using this on my Back and the harder the pressure is the better it is for me because it is the pressure that helps it stay under control for Muscle Spasms in my Left Shoulder Blade area. </p><p style="text-align: left;">I am reading "A Body In The Library" by Agatha Christie. I got this book from my County Library. I love my County Library - they have a little bit of Everything and my High School English Teacher works there. I get to see her every time I go there. I go there once a week to check out thousands of Books - Haha! My County Library has the Self Check Out System which I dearly love - they have the Automatic Computerized Return Slot which I dearly love. I can check out up to 100 Books at one time with two Renewals as long as there isn't somebody waiting on a book. I do have to pay $50.00 per year to use my County Library even though it is only 15 minutes away from me. I do not live in the Same Town where my County Library is at and I do not live where the other Library Towns and Cities are at either so I do have to pay once a year which to me it is so worth it. The Staff is super nice - so friendly - and there is no Shield on their desk at all either. I do have a local Library but they are behind the times and they have a shield on their counter and they do not have one single cozy mystery on their shelves - not one. They do have a lot of the Amish Mysteries but as far as Cozy Mysteries not one single Cozy Mystery like from Ellery Adams and all of them. So the money is worth to pay for me to go to my County Library cause they have a little bit of everything plus they have books for sale at all times too. </p><p style="text-align: left;">My 6 year old Child Buttercup is doing just fine....he is as orniery as ever. </p><p style="text-align: left;">We have been having Rain a lot this week which was good - now this coming week - back in the high 80's and 90's - which I do not like and no rain in sight. </p><p style="text-align: left;">That is all for now....</p><p style="text-align: left;">Take Care & Happy Stitching</p><p style="text-align: left;">God Bless You</p><p style="text-align: left;">Love & Prayers</p><p style="text-align: left;">Linda K, Buttercup </p><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script>Linda K's Stitching Corner http://www.blogger.com/profile/13402775984447448430noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674080566644934022.post-85721282726638159572023-07-14T08:49:00.000-07:002023-07-14T08:49:02.830-07:00A Bee In Your Bonnet Progress <div style="text-align: center;"><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenofphotos86/53045338796/in/datetaken-public/" title="Progress on A Bee In Your Bonnet by Summer House Stitche Workes - Friday, July 14, 2023"><img alt="Progress on A Bee In Your Bonnet by Summer House Stitche Workes - Friday, July 14, 2023" height="400" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53045338796_aa0ea64407_w.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">A Bee In Your Bonnet </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Summer House Stitche Workes </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">This is my progress so far on this. I am really enjoying stitching on this in the evenings for a little while. This is such a easy one to stitch and I have small finishes throughout this project. I need to add the letter T on the end of Bonnet. I was too tired last night to add the letter T. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">My town has had some major things happening this weekend so far. One of the major highways is under Road Construction so there is a detour for that. There was a Train Derailment that happened on two major highways so both Railroad Tracks was closed for quite some time. Our Water Main Broke so we are now under a Boil Advisory until further notice. This happen last night. We finally got our Water Back but if we use the water from our Faucets we have to Boil our Water. We did not have no water at all last night for a few hours. The local Police Department is giving each of us per family a case of Bottle Water. This is so nice of them to do this for us. I live in a small town so we all come together and help each other out. Hopefully nothing else will happen in my small town. I hope not. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">The Book that I am Currently Reading from my County Library is called "Winter's End" by Paige Shelton. This book is so good. I cannot hardly put this one down. It is a Mystery. Paige Shelton is one of my all time favorite Authors. I have read some of her other books as well. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">It is hot and muggy out in my area. We did get some Rain though which is a Blessing. In the Evenings its been nice and cool. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thank you for all of your lovely comments - I love reading them. I really appreciate them so very much. I am so blessed to have you as my stitchy friends. I will have another update for you on Friday so stay tuned. </p><p>My Left Shoulder is doing better but my Upper Arm not so much. This is why my stitching is going so slow. If I stitch too long that it starts to hurt to the point that I can't stitch. </p><p>I will be starting PT on Monday and if this does not help than I wll be going back to my Orthopedic Surgeon before my next appt with him which is in September. I just hope and pray that PT does not make my Upper Arm hurt worse. That is what I am afraid of. </p><p>Thank You All So Very Much</p><p>God Bless You </p><p>Love & Prayers</p><p>Linda K, Buttercup </p>Linda K's Stitching Corner http://www.blogger.com/profile/13402775984447448430noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674080566644934022.post-63251477233185153592023-07-07T09:24:00.000-07:002023-07-07T09:24:05.373-07:00Progress on A Bee In My Bonnet <div style="text-align: center;"><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenofphotos86/53029848205/in/datetaken-public/" title="Progress on A Bee In Your Bonnet - Summer House Stitche Workes - Friday, July 7, 2023"><img alt="Progress on A Bee In Your Bonnet - Summer House Stitche Workes - Friday, July 7, 2023" height="400" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53029848205_205d786835_w.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">A Bee In My Bonnet </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Summer House Stitche Workes </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">This is my progress so far on A Bee In My Bonnet....Very little progress - Every Stitch Counts you know. From the very top of this all the way down is the Center of the Design. For now the worst part is done. I am back stitching as I go along. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I just love this Design - this one is for me when it is finished and I get it framed. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thank you for looking :)</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">God Bless You</div><div style="text-align: left;">Love & Prayers</div><div style="text-align: left;">Linda K, Buttercup </div><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script>Linda K's Stitching Corner http://www.blogger.com/profile/13402775984447448430noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674080566644934022.post-44902914591039735162023-06-30T07:00:00.000-07:002023-06-30T07:00:08.309-07:00New Start - ABC Des Maisons - Jardin Prive <div style="text-align: center;"><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenofphotos86/53012974475/in/datetaken-public/" title="ABC Des Maisons - Jardin Prive - New Start - Thursday, June 29, 2023"><img alt="ABC Des Maisons - Jardin Prive - New Start - Thursday, June 29, 2023" height="400" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53012974475_a670c58691_w.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">ABC Des Maisons </div><div style="text-align: center;">Jardin Prive </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">14 Count White Aida </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started this yesterday afternoon. This is the hardest most difficult section to do. I have already started on the next Column since this Photo has been taken. I am stitching the worst section first and than I will do the easy stitching after that. I started this in 2018. Its time to get this one finished. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thank you for looking :)</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">God Bless You</div><div style="text-align: left;">Love & Prayers</div><div style="text-align: left;">Linda K, Buttercup </div><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script>Linda K's Stitching Corner http://www.blogger.com/profile/13402775984447448430noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674080566644934022.post-35468467806949921952023-06-24T06:01:00.004-07:002023-06-24T06:01:50.787-07:00Alphabet Soup WIP - The Design Connection <div style="text-align: center;"><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenofphotos86/52997940784/in/datetaken-public/" title="Progress on Alphabet Soup - The Design Connection - Saturday, June 24, 2023"><img alt="Progress on Alphabet Soup - The Design Connection - Saturday, June 24, 2023" height="400" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52997940784_ee4b025504_w.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Alphabet Soup </div><div style="text-align: center;">The Design Connection</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">28 Count Ivory Jobelan</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I started this on December 30, 2018. This is very slow going due to the Flowers - tons of Quarter Stitches in this Chart. I have two more Columns to do of the Flowers and than the very center of this will be completely finished. I did get another flower done on this - the dark red - pink one except for the Back Stitching. I Back Stitch as I go along on this one. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I love this but it is one of the more challenging pieces I have stitched. Once the Center is done than the rest of it is just regular stitching and it will go much faster too. I am hoping to have this done by the end of this year. There is quite a bit of stitching to be done on this. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thank you for looking :)</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">God Bless You</div><div style="text-align: left;">Love & Prayers</div><div style="text-align: left;">Linda K, Buttercup </div><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script>Linda K's Stitching Corner http://www.blogger.com/profile/13402775984447448430noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674080566644934022.post-39049050071209017772023-06-24T02:06:00.000-07:002023-06-24T02:06:06.981-07:00Progress on Four Seasons - Heaven And Earth Designs <div style="text-align: center;"><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenofphotos86/52996871132/in/datetaken-public/" title="Progress on Four Seasons - Heaven And Earth Designs - Jacek Yerka is the Artist - Michele Sayetta is the Designer - Friday - June 23, 2023"><img alt="Progress on Four Seasons - Heaven And Earth Designs - Jacek Yerka is the Artist - Michele Sayetta is the Designer - Friday - June 23, 2023" height="400" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52996871132_d6808bd60e_w.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Four Seasons </div><div style="text-align: center;">Heaven And Earth Designs<br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Artist - Jacek Yerka</div><div style="text-align: center;">Designer - Michele Sayetta of Heaven And Earth Designs</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">18 Count White Aida - 2 x 1 Full Cross </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I am getting closer to the end of Page One. This Chart has tons and tons of Confetti Stitching so it is going very slowly. I do enjoy stitching on this and I love this Chart. All of the Confetti Stitching will be well worth it at the end. I can't remember how many pages there are to this Chart. I have the regular size Chart. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I stitch on this every day. I would love to get Page One finished by the end of July. Than I will be able to go to Page Two. This is my Heaven And Earth Focus Piece. This is the only one that I am stitching on. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I love doing my Heaven And Earth Designs on 18 Count 2 x 1 Full Cross. It is so much easier to see and to stitch on the 18 count white Aida Fabric. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">It is going to be in the 80's today and it is 5:00 a.m. on this Saturday Morning. I have some Floss Tube Videos to watch this morning and I will be stitching on this. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Hope that you all have a great stitching day and that you will have a very enjoyable relaxing blessed day of stitching.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Take care & Happy Stitching</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">God Bless You </div><div style="text-align: left;">Love & Prayers</div><div style="text-align: left;">Linda K, Buttercup </div><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script>Linda K's Stitching Corner http://www.blogger.com/profile/13402775984447448430noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674080566644934022.post-27110885753562515802023-06-23T06:08:00.002-07:002023-06-23T06:08:17.104-07:00A New Start <div style="text-align: center;"><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenofphotos86/52995995823/in/datetaken-public/" title="New Start - A Bee In Your Bonnet - Summer House Stitche Workes - Thursday, June 22, 2023"><img alt="New Start - A Bee In Your Bonnet - Summer House Stitche Workes - Thursday, June 22, 2023" height="400" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52995995823_9df998e468_w.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">A Bee In Your Bonnet </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Summer House Stitche Workes </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">28 Count Vintage Country Mocha Cashel Linen </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">2 x 2 Full Cross </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Threads - GAST - Gentle Art Sampler Threads </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">This is my New Start - After not feeling good and being in pain and had to get the Torture Shot - Cortisone Shot in my Shoulder I decided to start something new.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I have a Big Heavy Duty Bag that has all of my Charts in it that I want to do like NOW. It is completely full. I went through my Bag last night to see what I could stitch on a good size piece of fabric and I ran across this chart. It is the Pattern at the very top of the Chart on the Front. I just love this Chart. I love Bees and I love Honey and when I saw this I just had to start it. I spent the evening last night - this morning in my Craft Room getting this started. All of the GAST is not showing because I have to buy just three of them and that is it. This Chart only uses very few GAST Threads and I love GAST Threads. They are so pretty. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">This month I was able to buy me a floor lamp that has a Reading Light down the middle and the Halogen Light at the top. I have this floor lamp in my Craft Room next to my table so now I can sit in my Craft Room and stitch. I love my Craft Room. I need to get a different chair though. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I have 28 Count White Lugana - 18 x 21 size - I haven't decided what I am going to be stitching on this yet. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I want to start Pandemic but the Fabric in itself cost 62.00 to get it from 123stitch. I have the threads for this but I need to get the Fabric. Someday I will get the Fabric for this. Pandemic Chart is big. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">The weather here where I live at - Northern Indiana USA - has been very hot and very dry. We have not had rain for over two weeks. We are suppose to get Rain on Sunday. I have been watering my flowers and Bushes out front every other day. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">My Book that I am reading which I got from my County Library is called It Takes Two To Mango by Carrie Doyle. This is Book #1 in a Series called Trouble In Paradise. There are three books in this Series so far. I have checked out all three books from my County Library. This Series is a Cozy Mystery Series and some parts of the book is so funny. I dearly love this Series. It is really good and I highly recommend this Series. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">The Audio Book that I am listening to through my County Library is called "A Day Of Fallen Night" by Samantha Shannon. There are 100 Chapters to this Book. I am on Chapter 77. I am at 77% mark. I am enjoying this book. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I will be spending my day in my Craft Room Stitching and trying to fiqure out what to stitch on my 28 Count White Lugana. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Take care & Happy Stitching </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">God Bless You</div><div style="text-align: left;">Love & Prayers</div><div style="text-align: left;">Linda K, Buttercup </div><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script>Linda K's Stitching Corner http://www.blogger.com/profile/13402775984447448430noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674080566644934022.post-63816525443752634982023-06-19T11:50:00.000-07:002023-06-19T11:50:00.026-07:00Blocks #1 - Block #2 is Completely Finished on Frosty Forest <div style="text-align: center;"><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenofphotos86/52986047007/in/datetaken-public/" title="Block #2 is Completely Finished - Snowy Deer - Frosty Forest Series by Country Cottage Needleworks - Saturday, June 17, 2023"><img alt="Block #2 is Completely Finished - Snowy Deer - Frosty Forest Series by Country Cottage Needleworks - Saturday, June 17, 2023" height="400" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52986047007_ee2c7bae8e_w.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Frosty Forest Series</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Country Cottage Needleworks</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">14 Count Light Blue Aida - Zweigart </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Blocks #1 and Block #2 is Completely Finished on Frosty Forest - I love this Series...there are 9 Charts altogether. I got part of the Border done on Block 3. Block 3 is the last block to go in the very first row. Than Blocks #4, 5, and 6 will go underneath the first row...than Blocks 7, 8 and 9 will be the third and final row. The Picture does not do it justice at all. I will try to get a better picture of this the next time I post this. I am trying to get this Series done this year. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">It is awfully hot out and there is no rain in site - be in the 90's Degrees F all of this week with no rain at all. Our grass will be burned up and it cost way too much money to water. Our town bill goes way up if we water plus running our A/C does not help our town bill either cause it goes up with running our A/C. I have Central Air and Central Heat. I am staying this week - the only place I have to go is to my Orthopedic Surgeon. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I am having trouble with my Left Shoulder and I cannot stitch too much because the pain will come in a flash. Its the top of my shoulder - part way down my arm and in my Collar Bone area too. My Insurance has denied to pay for the MRI from my family doctor so I am hoping that my Orthopedic Surgeon will convince them to pay for my MRI. I have not had a MRI since the 80's. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I want to stitch so bad but my shoulder is keeping me from stitching like I want to. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I did go out and started to clean a little bit of my back flower bed out. I will do this a little bit each day until it is cleaned out like I want it. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Thank you all for all of your lovely comments - I really appreciate them very much. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Take care & Happy Stitching </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">God Bless</div><div style="text-align: left;">Love & Prayers</div><div style="text-align: left;">Linda K, Buttercup </div><script async="" charset="utf-8" src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js"></script>Linda K's Stitching Corner http://www.blogger.com/profile/13402775984447448430noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674080566644934022.post-19827846387627065432023-06-16T06:51:00.002-07:002023-06-16T06:51:17.703-07:00Frosty Forest WIP - Blocks One And Two - Country Cottage Needleworks <div style="text-align: center;"><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/queenofphotos86/52977981007/in/datetaken-public/" title="Blocks #1 and #2 - Frosty Forest Series - Country Cottage Needleworks - Friday, June 16, 2023"><img alt="Blocks #1 and #2 - Frosty Forest Series - Country Cottage Needleworks - Friday, June 16, 2023" height="400" src="https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52977981007_269e4728a7_w.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Frosty Forest Series </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Country Cottage Needleworks</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">This is Block #1 which is Completely Finished and than Block #2 which is not quite Finish </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">This is what I have done so far on the Frosty Forest Series - their are 9 Blocks to this Series.
